How to apply for KPLC connection
If you have the above requirements, here are two ways you can apply for a KPLC connection.
1. Apply Online
The first way to apply for a KPLC connection is online.
You need to have a computer and be connected to the internet. KPLC website where the application is done is easy to navigate. Here are steps to follow;
- Visit KPLC self-service portal
- Select the “new supply application” option:
- Fill in all the required information
- Attach the required documents
- Attach the softcopy format authenticates listed above.
- Accept terms and conditions by ticking the button just below the application form
- Click the “send” button.
If your application is successfully sent to KPLC and the attached documents are approved, you’ll receive an email from KPLC detailing what to do.
2. Apply In person
You can also apply for KPLC connection in person by visiting the nearest KPLC offices spread around the country or at the huduma center.
You’ll be required to fill electricity inquiry for Supply of Electricity and Supply Contract forms.
You can also choose to download them from the KPLC website and fill them before visiting the KPLC offices or huduma center.
At last, you will be required to sign an electricity connection contract.
After filling the KPLC electricity connection application, you’ll be notified of what steps will follow.
