  2. Next, select the bundle package you want to purchase
  3. Select either daily, weekly or monthly data bundles

Alternatively, send an SMS from your Safaricom line with the price of the bundle to 450. 

How to check data bundle balance in a Safaricom modem

To check your Safaricom bundles balance in the modem, follow the following basic steps:

  1. To check the Safaricom bundle balance in a modem, visit the website on your device
  2. Next, click to check the balance
  3. A confirmation will be sent showing the balance of your bundles in your modem.

Alternatively, you can SMS the word BALANCE to 450 for a prepaid line, and Safaricom will reply to you with your Safaricom bundle balance.

For postpaid Safaricom line SMS, the word DATA to 200, and you will receive a message with the Safaricom bundle balance your modem.
