Does KFC accept SNAP?
Yes, KFC accepts SNAP as payment for meal purchases in states that participate in the Restaurant Meals Program (RMP).

Because not all states accept EBT for meal payments, it’s important to be aware of the states that participate in RMP and the meals that can be purchased at KFC.
States Where KFC Accepts EBT
California, Rhode Island, Illinois, Michigan, and Arizona are just a few states that participate in the Restaurant Meal Program and accept the EBT as a form of payment.
For a state to be eligible to accept the EBT program for its inhabitants, however, the state must first meet certain federal standards.
Additionally, the states must demonstrate that they can adequately operate an EBT system by all of the rules and procedures, including any text or communication, cash receipt, cash transaction, cash safeguarding restrictions, and other related requirements.
Temporary Support for Needy Families (TANF), a financial assistance program for low-income families, has eligibility conditions similar to those of this program.
Because of this, everyone getting federal benefits under the TANF program must also be eligible to receive cash benefits through an EBT program, regardless of whether they live in a state that operates its system or not.
